Jev Vaughan
Mentor, Architect at Vaughan Associates Architects, Inc
Jev is a native Texan who made the move to Tennessee in 1985, bringing with him a passion for design and a commitment to community. In 1992, he and his wife, Carolyn Smith—a Jackson native—chose to make Jackson their permanent home. Since then, they have been actively involved in both the professional and civic life of the region.
With over three decades of experience in architecture, Jev has dedicated 33 years to serving clients in Jackson and across West Tennessee. His work reflects a deep appreciation for thoughtful, functional design and a strong commitment to improving the built environment in his community.
Jev and Carolyn are active members of First United Methodist Church, where they participate in both worship and service. In 2014, Jev was honored to be selected as a participant in the Jackson Chamber’s Leadership Jackson program, graduating with a broader network and an even deeper dedication to local leadership.
Outside of his professional work, Jev is passionate about giving back. He regularly volunteers for community service projects and enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, biking, or simply enjoying nature, Jev finds balance and inspiration in the natural world.
